Sarina Candle

＊Born in Dhaka city, Bangladesh.

＊Spent her childhood in Japan until she was 15       years old.

＊In 1978, she went abroad to the United States       to enroll a private high school in Dallas, TX.

＊Her third year at high school, she transferred       to another private school in Arizona.

＊In 1982, she enrolled "Pratt Institute" (N.Y. ) to     study Graphic Design---BFA (Honors).

＊In 1986, she worked as a package designer for 　cosmetics in NY.

＊In 1989, she was Invited to "The Packaging             Conference" in Sweden as a guest speaker to         talk about "American & Japanese Package             Design".

＊In1991, she had an opportunity to translate for     a Jazz musician, Miles Davis. 

＊In 1992, she returned to Japan and became a         candle artist.

＊In 1997, she had her first candle exhibition in       Tokyo.

＊She has been exhibiting her handmade                   candles at various galleries in Japan and Asia.

＊１９７８年、単身渡米し、テキサス州（ダラス市） に　ある高校、「ハッカデー・スクール」に入学。

＊１９８０年、アリゾナ州にある「オーム・スクール」に　転校。

＊１９８２年、NYの「プラット インスティテュート」に　入学し、Graphic Designを専攻。BFA (Honors)

＊１９８６年、NYのパッケージデザイン会社にデザイ　　ナーとして入社。

＊１９８９年、スウェーデン（ストックホルム市）で行わ　れたパッケージ協会の招きで講演。

＊１９９１年、マイルスデイビスの通訳を担当。

＊１９９２年、 帰国後、キャンドル作家としてデ　　　　ビュー。

＊１９９７年、初個展を開催。​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​

＊様々な展示会を国内やアジアで開催し、現在に至る。
